INTRODUCTION

The FireSmart wireless fire alarm system is the most popular choice in Vietnam. In local fire codes, except for residential houses, all buildings need to have an FA system. So, all small houses such as villas, small hotels, restaurants, etc., require this wireless choice.

Certainly, historical and religious buildings also need FireSmart, where people cannot run signal cables inside. The FireSmart wireless system is especially suitable for use in locations where the wiring of fire detectors is impossible or undesirable.

The system is organized as a MESH-NETWORK, which maximizes communication redundancy and thus matches the security and reliability of a cable-based solution. Within the mesh network, each wireless device communicates with adjacent devices. This means that at least two redundant paths are available at any time for transmitting information.

The signal is transmitted via radio waves, doesn’t use traditional signal cables. This helps save labor costs and installation time. We don’t need to cut the ceiling or the wall for cable routing. So it doesn’t affect the house’s structure and architectural beauty.

System configuration

The control panel can connect to 300 programmable addressable fire alarm devices. There are two onboard output relays for controlling external devices in case of a fire.

Connection between FACP to wireless smoke/heat detectors conforms to the EN-54 Standard. FireSmart wireless fire alarm devices meet common international regulations for using radio waves.

All the wireless smoke/heat detectors, manual call point and modules are addressable. Users can name each device themselves using software on their PC or mobile APP, or directly on the control panel.

Each detector uses power from an ordinary 3V battery, which can be easily found in any convenience store. One battery is sufficient for more than 36 months. When the battery’s capacity drops below 20%, the device will alert the user through LED lights and repeated sounds two months before it runs out of power.

Using modern design and the latest technology ensures that FireSmart devices operate stably for a long time. The warranty is valid for 24 months after the first use.

Installations in various countries have demonstrated that the FireSmart wireless system works well even in hard conditions.

Emergency alerts are not only sent to the Horn and Lamp but also to the user’s cellphone through SMS, voice calls, and APP notifications. Even when users are not at home, they can have confidence that the safety of their house is under control.
