Certifications & Compliance

Quick answer: FireSmart’s wireless fire alarm devices are designed and manufactured in Vietnam under TCVN 7568-14:2025 and hold Vietnam’s official Certificate of Circulation (Giấy phép lưu thông) issued by the Fire Police and Rescue Department. As FireSmart expands into new export markets, we are actively pursuing the radio type-approval and fire-safety certifications each destination country requires — see the market-by-market status below, and contact us for the latest update on any market not yet listed.

Vietnam: TCVN 7568-14:2025 Compliance & Certificate of Circulation

All FireSmart wireless fire alarm devices are designed and manufactured in Vietnam in compliance with TCVN 7568-14:2025, Vietnam’s national technical standard for fire detection and alarm systems. Every FireSmart product line holds an official Certificate of Circulation (Giấy phép lưu thông phương tiện phòng cháy, chữa cháy) issued by the Fire Police and Rescue Department (Cục Cảnh sát PCCC&CNCH), Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, confirming the products meet the required technical and safety criteria before being placed on the market.

International Certification Roadmap

As FireSmart expands into new markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, we are actively pursuing product certifications and regulatory approvals aligned with each destination market’s requirements. Because FireSmart devices communicate over a dedicated wireless radio link, most markets require two separate types of approval: a radio/telecommunications type-approval for the wireless module, and a fire-safety product certification for the fire alarm function itself. See what EN 54-25, ISO 7240-25 and TCVN 7568-25 actually test for the radio-linked part of that certification.

India

FireSmart is preparing certification for the Indian market on two tracks: WPC Equipment Type Approval (ETA) for the wireless radio module, issued by India’s Wireless Planning & Coordination Wing, and BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification for the fire detection and alarm function, referencing the IS/ISO 7240 series — the international standard family that also covers radio-linked (“wireless”) fire alarm components. This work is in progress; FireSmart products are not yet BIS-certified.

Indonesia

For Indonesia, FireSmart is pursuing SDPPI/Postel type-approval (issued by DJID, under Indonesia’s Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs) for the wireless radio module, and evaluating whether Indonesia’s SNI national standard applies specifically to fire alarm equipment. This work is in progress; FireSmart products are not yet SDPPI- or SNI-certified.

Looking ahead

FireSmart plans to pursue additional country-specific certifications as we expand distribution across Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. If your project requires a specific certification not listed here, please contact us — we can advise on current status and expected timelines.
